Ruby Gogoi brings over 25 years of experience in the development sector, specializing in handloom and handicraft, gender, and women’s empowerment across the Northeastern states of India. She also has significant experience working with women in tea gardens. Throughout her career, Ruby has been associated with organizations such as North-East Network, ActionAid (Assam Chapter), ICCSPL (Assam), and Purva Bharati Trust. Her journey in the development sector began in 1995 with Tezpur Mahila Samiti, a pioneering organization focused on women’s empowerment in Assam
